Bone broth has been getting a lot of attention the past few years, and for good reason; it is incredibly good for our health! The collagen and glycine in bone broth is really beneficial for body tissue, which means it’s great for our hair, skin, nails, gut health, and other types of healing. I always recommend it to my postpartum Whole30 clients, as it’s so nourishing for postpartum recovery.

While we know that bone broth is beneficial, not everyone wants to drink a cup of it on its own. Enter: Bone Broth Hot Cocoa!

This is a delicious paleo treat that is both tasty and so, so good for you. It’s free of dairy and free of refined sugar so you can drink it without the sugar hangover. I tried making this recipe a couple of different ways and found that honey masks the bone broth taste pretty well!

I suggest using home made bone broth because store bought broth may be too salty for this recipe. Making bone broth is super easy and way more affordable than buying it; here’s my recipe!

Enjoy this rich and nourishing treat!
